In his CD release Connections, my good friend, vocalist Bruce

Whitney Houston
- Soul Divas Tour
In 2004 I served as Whitney Houston’s
arranger for the “Soul Divas” tour in Germany. One
of my assignments included arranging, producing & playing
piano and keyboards on the show overture. The recording was played
at the beginning of each concert to a slide show of the 3 divas
(Whitney Houston, Dionne Warwick and Natalie Cole).

Beth Yeshaya
- Far Cry
In 2001, after many years of planning, my first recorded musical
collaboration with my wife, Beth Yeshaya, came
to life. For 2 nights in July 2000, we turned Studio M (Minnesota
Public Radio's large recording room) into a hot jazz club and
recorded 2 concerts to a cheering crowd. Later, the project went
through another stage as some of the tunes were enhanced with
additional instrumental arrangements. My roles here included:
Piano, Rhodes, synth, arrangements and production.

Voice Trek
- At Last
The jazz vocal group Voice Trek was my introduction to
the jazz scene in the Twin Cities. My work with them as a pianist
was a great experience and their tight arrangements and harmonies
have been very inspiring. One of the songs in this selection
is my jazz composition Licks, which Marissa
Dodge set lyrics to and transformed into Mickey’s
Diner (a hip arrangement by Michelle Weir)
